Home day

Wednesday was our home day this week. We need some days where we can just be home all day, in our pajamas as long as we'd like, and not rushed to get anywhere.

This week, we read books on the couch after breakfast.

And mixed up some pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, a staple in our home.

Later we made some cinnamon applesauce ornaments I had pinned a while ago.

Isabella thought they were cookies and kept asking to eat one.

I've been trying to think of some ways to instill caring for others and a giving heart in my little one. So we talked about our Compassion child, Teddy, and why we help people. We sat at the table and I wrote a letter to our child.

Isabella colored a picture for her, and we prayed for Teddy and her family.

Playdoh time after nap...

It was a great day together.
