She's a awesome surfer princess??

I have wanted some of these word magnets for a years. I was at the dollar spot at target this week and they had some. (Reason #56 why I love target, but that is a post for another time).

And yes for my English savvy friends and family- I know it should be she's AN awesome surfer princess....but hey, these are just for fun! :) There are no grammar rules with the word magnets. It reminds me of some of the journals my cousin teaching English in S. Korea gets from her kids.

Michael has been out of town this whole week. He got home late last night, and is currently standing in front of the fridge mulling over the word combinations he can come up with. Sometimes it really is the little things, ya know! :)

Happy Birthday America!

We enjoyed our Friday off work with family, swimming, and having this delicious shrimp boil. It was a nice break after many days of moving, cleaning, and unpacking.

On the 4th we grilled out and did some more swimming with friends and family. We had planned to go out to Yukon again for their 4th celebration, but with the crazy storm we stayed in town and had a picnic inside.

We went to see Edmond's firework show, which was really long, and good. The weather was around 75 that night and almost felt chilly. It was a great day, and we are so blessed to have all of the freedoms we have.

Goodbye Hasley...

We handed over the keys to our renters this week. It was a weird feeling to give someone else the keys to our house and drive away. I cried as we drove away. I guess I just felt nostalgic about the first house we ever lived in together. We had many special memories there together and with our friends and family.

On the porch of our very first home together...

On to our next adventure in life...who knows in a year we might move back to the Hasley!

Fun times

We kept my nephews one night last week. We always have fun together!

Isaac

Being silly...they are both growing up so fast!

George

They whispered and giggled long after we put them to bed, and woke up early to crawl in bed with us...sweet times that I will always remember.
