Isabella and I made a trek out to the Nowakowski family farm this week. It was pouring down rain, dark, and I thought for sure we were lost a few times. But then I saw this sign:
And was relieved we had made it!
The corn was in a huge barn with lots of people at work preparing and bagging the corn.
We picked up two bags to share with my Mom and Sister and drove back home in time for morning nap.
Isabella napped and I bagged up 80 ears of sweet corn. We will eat a few this week and then freeze our bags to so we will have fresh sweet corn throughout the year. It is delicious!
