I finished reading The Secret Life of Bees, last night. It was an easy read that is doable in a few days. I am interested to see the movie and how it compares to the book. Overall I thought the book was sad, but things came together in the end. Now I need to get started on this month's book for book club. Any book recommendations?

I have heard the book "The Shack" by William P Young might be a good book. I am thinking about getting it to read myself.
ReplyDeleteYou already finished Secret Life of Bees. I'm impressed. The movie mom said the movie was even better than the book. I hope I can read the book before seeing the movie, but I don't know if I will be able to hold out that long.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading The Shack right now so I will let you know what I think when I am done. When I read the back of it and heard about it, it sounded hokey but I'm giving it a chance. Another awesome book that you can fly through in a short time is called The Glass Castle. It's a memoir and you will love it.
