One month

Harrison is already one month! He's been along on a some family adventures, had his first time to church, and first few baths. We take naps together every day while sister is at school and big brother naps too. He is a content little guy unless he is tired or hungry. We had a weight check and a few biliruben checks the first week. But at his 2 week appointment he had gained a lb and a half...so he is doing well. Look at those rolly arms!! So sweet!

First bath
He was not a fan of getting dried off.
Happy one month Harrison Lee!

Day out with Thomas

I had really been wanting to take Benjamin to day out with Thomas but was still trying to figure out when to go and who could come with us to help with Harrison. Mom surprised us with train tickets when I'd just planned to go and just check out all of the train stuff and see Thomas. Dad came with us and stayed with Harrison in the stroller so we could go in and out of all the model trains easily. The model train displays were one of his favorite parts.

He loved it and is still talking about next time we go to Day out with Thomas.

September phone pics

 Hi! I'm Harrison.

Harrison with his Great Grandma, Verna Lee. His middle name is after her.

Iz making pictures of our family while we were in the hospital.

Getting some vitamin D trying to get a better bilirubin number. Those ankle pricks are no fun. :(

Harrison is one week old! Headed out on a quick dinner date...with a photo bomber in the window.

Loving on brother before school one morning.

Big talks with Mimi, her last day staying with us.

Brothers

Papa took the kids each to the fair each on their own for some one on one time. Isabella got her face painted and had a blue snow cone, thus the blue teeth.

Benny's favorite part at the fair was the train that dental depot brought.

Love those arms up while sleeping.

Making Isabella's number 6 birthday cookies.

Talks with the grandkids after Sunday lunch.

So many sleeping pics taken this month of our sweet boy.

Isabella turns 6

Our girl turned 6! So big!
Pancakes for breakfast before school

Trying out her new bike before school that morning.

I brought chickfila to school and had lunch with her. She has a big jolly rancher in her mouth! ha!

Recess with her good friend Juliet.
We scrapped our dinner plans to go to family fun night at her school that evening as she really wanted to do that. Her party was the next morning. She had seen a daniel tiger episode a few weeks prior with a fall party and decided that's what she wanted to do for her party. Since Harrison is a couple of weeks old, I wasn't sure about pulling all of this off, but my Mom's came to the rescue and did most of the decorating, food, and games. Thanks so much Mom and Paula!

Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing

Love the pumpkins for serving the dips!!!

Someone snapped this of Benjamin taking a breather outside. Lots of noise and goings on for my boy's introverted spirit.

Izzy playing, throw the hoop over the pumpkin.

Pin the leaf on the pumpkin game

 Pumpkin bowling

 Pinata time

 Collecting candy

 Cake time

Playing with her new art set post party. She also got some face paint crayons she loved using.

Happy birthday sweet girl!! At 6 you are loving being with friends and people as much as possible, school, going to church, drawing and art, music, mexican food and anything sweet, Magic tree house books, beanie boos, and your favorite color is "rainbow". You still play with your my little ponies and dress up in your princess costumes, but not as much as you use to. You have a great imagination and create fun play scenarios for you and Benjamin to play.
We love you so much! Your bring so much joy and energy to our home.

Harrison's Newborn pics

After much debate I decided to do Harrison's newborn photos instead of hiring someone. My friend Sara who does photography offered to help me and that sealed the deal. I started regretting it the day before since I'd had someone else do the other two kids' photos, but I ended up being happy overall with how they turned out.
Sara set up a lot of the poses and I took the pictures. It made me wish I'd had an assistant with other newborn shoots I've done. So much easier to have someone else doing the posing while I'm getting the camera set and can start shooting immediately when baby is ready.

The other nice thing about hiring someone for photos is having someone else to do all of the culling and editing. Plus newborns are so tricky to edit with their splotchy skin and tones. Hopefully I'll finish them all one day, I just picked through and chose my favorites and left the others for now. It took us all day, but it was fun having a friend to do it with. Thanks so much Sara!
