Independence Day!

We had our last batch of pioneer woman cinnamon rolls for breakfast in the morning before heading to the parade.

We had to wake sleepy joe up to go to the parade so he had his breakfast at the parade.

Isabella liked waving at everyone and was highly anticipating the princess float.

Hanging out in the shade with Dad.

Isabella asked many times if we would have watermelon stars on the 4th. She remembered them from last year.

After the parade we had lunch and went swimming. We were the only ones there so we had the pool to ourselves. Then we came home to nap.

Isabella and I made this star spangled apple pie together.

Headed out to cook out with friends and family

We had a great day celebrating America and hanging out with friends. The only thing that would have topped it off is some fireworks at the end of the day, but our little ones weren't up to it this year. I'm sure there will be many other years to see them! And it was great with the 4th being a Friday so that we had a long weekend. Happy Independence Day America!
