The first part of December

We had a full and joyous December. We did our Christmas countdown activities along with some service missions from our kindness elves. I enjoyed doing the she reads truth advent study, and I did one with the kids from their Jesus Story Book bible.

The kids had their Christmas program at church.
Benjamin rang his bell happily for a bit then ran all over the stage and laid down a few times.

Isabella stood up the whole time, sang all the songs and did the hand motions, and didn't raise up her dress. How times have changed. :)

Playing with the melting snowman at breakfast.

Gingerbread house time!! The kids ate several pieces of the candy.

We opened a book together each night and read together

We went to the Lighting of the Commons at OC. We met up with the Ackermans and rode the carriage ride with them.

Benjamin really wanted to ride the little train so we rode it as well.

Cupcake date with just Benjamin after picking him up from Mother's Day out. Their color was green this week and he made this crocodile.

We went to North Pole City with the Ackermans one day before the girls had school. The kids rode the little train and we checked out all of the awesome Christmas decor.

We did our annual trip to the Yukon lights with Nana and Cappy. They had to close due to lots of damage from the ice storm, but luckily they reopened in time for us to go.

Lunch at whole foods before school.

Reading stories with Benjamin by the tree, wearing the same little Santa Christmas socks Isabella wore at his age. And another book opening. THOMAS! Benjamin was excited!
